Technical Resume
I am a skilled consultant, analyst, developer. I've worked with various companies to develop systems that meet customer's needs. I began in the mainframe arena, but switched over to the PC & client/server arena. I have the ability to teach myself. I am confident in learning new, and I enjoy a "technical" challenge.
I've spent a number of years in full time ministry. During that time I have done side work including developing a custom warehouse system, managing church computer networks, and some web design. I always seem to get recruited to help people solve their computer issues ;)
I am working on re-entering the IT field. I need to update my skills a bit, but I'm confident that I'll be back up to speed in no time.

- Java Script - Using small bits in my pages now. Learning more complicated scripts and libraries.
- C# - Starting with the freebie Visual Studio 2010 Express.
- C++ - Using Netbeans or Eclipse for this.
Work Experience
Independent Consultant (June 2004 – Present)
- Designed a Warehouse management system for a 3rd party logistics company. The system used a PC based front end written in Visual Basic 2003 and an Access Database. Designed synchronization to the Internet which keeps the internet data up to date. The internet interface which allows customers to access their warehouse data was designed using asp.net and SQL Server as the database.
- Designed a staffing system for the staffing division of a warehouse management company. The system was created in Visual Basic 2005 and SQL Server. A web interface is planned for the future as well.
- Worked as an independent consultant with companies providing PC & network assistance for small businesses. Tasks included running network and phone cable, setting up PCs and printers, and server and PC troubleshooting maintenance.
Pastor of Discipleship and Evangelism / Interim Senior / Transitional Pastor (October 1999 – June 2006), United Faith Assembly of God, Charlotte, NC
- Managed the maintenance and expansion of all church/campus computer systems with a 50+node computer network, firewall appliance, corporate security systems and two web sites.
- This role included hands on work as well as supervision of part-time employees and outside consultants.

- Main Technology: Visual Basic & SQL Server
- Worked as a consultant developing computer systems for internal and external clients.
- Functioned as a team leader coordinating development projects and other programmers.
- Main client was Coca Cola Bottling Company Consolidated, Charlotte, NC. Rewrote a call center PC system using Visual Basic 6.0 and SQL Server Database.
